20. The Plane Crash
As Seen In: Season 2 Episode 13: "ABQ" As it turns out, Jane's father Donald works as an air traffic controller. After Jane's death he becomes overwrought with grief, and accidentally directs two planes into each other in the sky above Albuquerque. Walt had met Donald in a local bar the episode before, and soon realizes that the deaths of all 167 passengers rest on his shoulders. If he had saved Jane than Donald would never have made the fatal mistake that caused the mid-air collision. Though it's never explicitly stated, the crash has quite the effect on Walt (as seen by the various newspapers scattered across the house), leading into moment number nineteen...
