2. Mike Ehrmantraut
You know you've got a good character on your hands when he is more interesting than the show's protagonists. Like Krazy-8, Mike (Jonathon Banks) has an interesting back-story in that he A) used to be a cop and B) has a granddaughter, Kaylee Ehrmantraut, whom he's shown to share an at-times tender and strong bond with. These are both themes we'd love to see more of in "Better Call Saul". Mike became a hitman/henchman later in Breaking Bad's run and was known to keep cool in hostile situations and execute targets with minimum fuss. He became one of the show's more likable characters due to his ice-cool personality and the all-action scenes he later became involved in, despite the fact he was a nemesis to Water White's "Heisenberg". His relationship with Gustavo Fring was a particularly compelling one and by bringing back Banks and his character Mike, "Better Call Saul" would become an instant hit with fans.
