Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

Of all the main characters in Breaking Bad, Marie Schrader feels the most uninteresting, despite Vince Gilligan's attempts to make her a kleptomaniac with an amusing relationship to her sister, Skyler White.

She's by no means a bad character, though, thanks in large part to Betsy Brandt's wonderfully sharp performance and her moments of deep drama - particularly those she shares with her troubled husband in his times of need.

Loyal and opinionated, Marie often acted like the show's comic relief, sprinkling the violence with moments of awkward humour, and though she was always great to have around and kept the family together, she still feels like small fish compared to the bigger personalities around her.
