Breaking Bad Cast: Where Are They Now?

5. Bob Odenkirk

Breaking Bad
AMC

The irreplaceable Bob Odenkirk recently had a bit of a health scare on the set of Better Call Saul's final season, suffering a heart attack and only just returning to work earlier this month.

As conniving lawyer Saul Goodman, Odenkirk is arguably the show's most popular mainstay, having won over legions of fans with his smarmy performance, comedy skills, and his recent award-winning turn as the lead of Breaking Bad's spin-off.

Originally considered a "comedy actor" before landing the role, he made a name for himself on the sketch shows Saturday Night Live and Mr. Show with Bob and David. Having reinvented his image as Saul, he's gone from strength-to-strength.

Not only has Better Call Saul showed off his skills as an effective dramatic actor, his recent movie roles in films like Little Women, The Post, and the action-thriller Nobody have cemented his status as one of the most consistent actors working today.

He's currently filming the final season of Better Call Saul, and is also poised to star in the second season of the madly underrated drama Undone.
