1. Where To Next?
Obviously the news that Broadchurch would be returning wasn't that much of a shock to anyone who had seen the rumours of a third season, but to see it confirmed was still a good thing for fans. Now, admittedly a lot of fans were put off by the dramatic shift in tone and pace from the first season, but the finale still pulled in good numbers and a generally positive critical response, so there's enough goodwill to keep the hype machine turning for the third season. The question now - which was deliciously posed at the end of the finale - is where next? Will Hardy take up a new job elsewhere? Will Ellie (the other confirmed returning character) go with him? Or is it all back to Broadchurch to investigate a new case (possibly Joe's return and a Who Shot Mr Burns-style scenario where everyone's implicated in his death)?
