How can you write a list of the best Brooklyn 99 episodes and not mention Doug Judy? The Pontiac Bandit is one of, if not the best, returning characters in the show. The whole fr-enemy relationship between him and Jake, is just hilarious and has been the source of some of the show’s best scenes. But in this episode, it gets even better because it's the first time Judy interacts with Jake and Amy as a couple.

Throughout the episode there is this sense that Judy is constantly giving his approval of them being together, because let’s face it, if "your girl knows about the Uzbeks", she definitely a keeper. This episode is full of so many brilliant Doug Judy moments it is hard to take them all in at once, from his “smoosh songs”, to welcoming Jake to the weed-loving "high-seas”, to giving Jake and Amy the keys to the “Boom-Boom State Room”.

This episode’s B-plot is also hilarious, as it sees Holt’s dramatic sister comes to visit. In trying to persuade her to leave, Holt attempts to increase his drama levels. This sees him use some very uncharacteristic terms while maintaining his signature monotone, which is great to watch. To sell the drama even more, they even have Terry interrupt their conversation saying, “the mob is at it again.”

This episode though is primarily about the Jake/Judy relationship, and if you love 99, you love Doug Judy, and this episode shows him at his best.
