Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 10 Most Hated Supporting Characters

Like Seth Dozerman, Jason Stentley at one time replaced Holt as the Captain of the 99th precinct, this time when the former Captain had to go into witness protection in Florida with Jake. It's fair to say that while Holt was a brilliant Commanding Officer, CJ was at the other end of the spectrum.

He was incredibly incompetent, and had only earned his promotion to the rank of Captain because he went to the wrong address for his dentist appointment, and accidentally aided in a drug bust. He openly admitted that he was not cut out for the job, and was a walking definition of the phrase 'failing upwards'.

When the squad went down to Florida to help Jake and Holt, it was CJ who decided to put them on the night shift as punishment, even though he completely understood why they did what they did. Dozerman was one thing, but having a Commanding Officer this stupid was just infuriating.

When he was brought back as part of Jake's Suicide Squad to take down John Kelly, he continued his ridiculous run of getting everything wrong. He put the entire operation in jeopardy on more than one occasion, and the only reason he wanted to take Kelly down in the first place was because he said he couldn't eat raw chicken.
