Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 10 Worst Characters Who Appeared After Season 1

2. Trudy Judy

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Kate Peralta
Fox

A character that people vehemently love to hate, and one that just didn't need to exist in the first place. Trudy Judy feels more like a forcibly inserted female counterpart to one of the series' most iconic recurring villains - Doug Judy - for the sake of gender equality. Trudy just flat out sucks ass.

When she isn't talking about her backside or someone else's, her flamboyancy, overextended exuberance and just callous attitude towards everyone else that is partially similar to her brother is just too unpleasant and too overzealous to be taken even slightly seriously. Or, more offensively, she's just plainly and simply not funny.

The reason Doug Judy worked so well was because he was original first and foremost; maybe not characteristically in the realm of fictional media, but within the series that he belongs to. So, the question is, why make a sibling?

Everyone in Brooklyn Nine-Nine had their own unique personalities that, when combined together, made for some of television's best comedic scenarios in decades. Sorry Trudy Judy, but you're just extraneous and unnecessary.
