Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Every Main Character RANKED

4. Gina Linetti

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Fox

The egomaniacal Gina Linetti became a solid fan-favourite of the show before she left during Season 6.

Her blunt insults cut through the usual nonsense of day-to-day interactions and gave her a refreshingly honest voice, even if her opinion wasn’t always required.

More concerned with celebrity gossip and gaining social media followers, Gina was the most selfish member of the cast when compared with her co-workers, who work to protect Brooklyn. However, her on-screen chemistry with every member of the cast made her a compelling character to watch and a regular scene-stealer.

Gina seemingly lacked respect for her colleagues, besides Jake, and was often repulsed by Boyle’s behaviour and Amy’s fashion sense. But she did show glimpses of genuine fondness for the squad, particularly in her farewell episode.

Despite her narcissistic nature, Gina left her mark on her co-workers, but was always destined for more important things than sitting behind a desk, at least in her own mind.
