Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Every Season 7 Episode Ranked Worst To Best

Speaking of that shocking Jimmy Jab cliffhanger, we now come to its crazy resolution. Said cliffhanger saw the sweet and newly empowered Debbie Fogel walking out of the evidence room with a bag full of guns and cocaine. It was a brilliant twist that likely came as a complete sucker punch to most people. Up until that point it had seemed like Debbie was simply going to be a new recurring character, tied to Holt's temporary demotion. Just another quirky and goofy face for the main Nine Niners to interact with. Talk about misdirection.

This episode continues to flip everything the audience thought they knew on its head, with some great comedic moments from Vanessa Bayer as Debbie. From her horribly awkward attempts at playing it cool while the precinct tries to figure out who stole the evidence, to her coked out antics later in the episode.

It's not just Bayer though, as all of the regular cast hit it out of the park in this episode. From Holt and Amy's competitive speed-reading of Debbie's diaries, to Scully taking Debbie down as she attempts to flee. Then there's Jake and Rosa playing dirty cops to get close to Debbie and the heavily censored Mr. Bean conversation that ensues.

It's a fun episode with everyone in top form, that took the season's breakout character and did something unexpected with them. It's just a shame that the twist occurred so early in the season, because it would have been great to see more of Debbie.
