Finally leaving season three behind and jumping straight to season seven, we are going to be taking a look at the episode Chosen, which is the final ever episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Buffy is up against the odds, in the middle of the Hellmouth, taking on The First Evils army of uber vamps; genetically superior versions of the regular vampire. The odds don't look good for the gang, potential slayers start dropping and Buffy lays on the ground with a stab wound straight through her back. The First taunts her, "You came pretty close to smacking me down. What more do you want?"

This line resonated with Buffy. Instead of allowing it to fill her with dread and weaken her, it instils her with a new and invigored fighting spirit. Rising from the ground she stares The First down and says, "What I want is for you to get out of my face".

Chills run down the spine as you watch this badass looking death in the eye and denying it. Rising to the occasion, ready to whoop these uber vamps, The First, and anything else that comes her way straight into the ground. This also sends fear into The First's corporal body for the first time in the series. Buffy then goes on to destroy the Hellmouth, The First, then do some parkouring atop the Sunnydale rooftops and land on top of a bus, making her getaway as Sunnydale crumbles behind her. One word: epic.
