Buffy The Vampire Slayer: 10 Moments Buffy Was An Absolute Badass

Sticking with season five and sticking with the season finale, The Gift. Buffy is up against the odds when taking on Glory, the hell Goddess who is set on bringing about an end to the world, all so she can get back to her hell dimension and regain her true power.

Buffy utilises Spike's sex bot version of her that surprisingly manages to handle itself against the Goddess. That is until Glory punches its head clean off. This does lead to a hilarious line from Glory who states, "The Slayer's a robot! Did everybody else know the Slayer was a robot?". Then enter actual Buffy, who delivers this badass quip that just leaves you with a sense of, oh, she's about to kick ass - "Glory? You're not the brightest god in the heavens, are you?"

This is followed by Glory getting a swift smack to the face with a magical hammer.

What follows is an action-packed fight between the Slayer and God. With Buffy finally showing Glory what a slayer is capable of, beating Glory over and over with help from Olaf the Trollgod's enchanted hammer and Xander with his massive wrecking ball. Glory finds herself at the hands of Buffy's mercy. After spending the season watching Glory get the better of Buffy, it was fabulous to finally see the Slayer completely hand her ass to her.
