16. Willow Kills Warren
I nearly put Tara's devastating death on this list, but arguably the more significant moment is Willow's extreme reaction to her loss in the following episode.
After her girlfriend died in her arms, Willow sucks up the dark magic and sets about killing the Trio for revenge. At the end of Villains, she succeeds in brutally killing Tara's killer Warren - by skinning him alive.
It's a huge shock to see the loveable Willow reach such a dark place and a terrific twist to reveal her as season six's real big bad. Plus, it's a nice touch to have her quote The Wish's Vampire Willow - "Bored now."
