Poor Allan Finch. The Deputy Mayor of Sunnydale, Finch was the Mayor's timid and innocent right-hand man who decided he'd had enough of the Mayor's evil plans and headed out to tell Buffy and gang about what was coming.

Though he meant well, Allan found himself caught off guard by Faith, who staked him thinking he was a vampire. It was a tragic end to an otherwise one-note character with plenty of potential, and his death proved to be the catalyst to Faith's eventual downfall.
