The first three seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer are adored by fans of the show, and with good reason. Whilst the last four seasons have plenty of great episodes, Buffy’s time at high school will always be special.
Even season 1 – which has some pretty patchy episodes – is hard not to love. Watching Buffy, Willow, and Xander manoeuvre their way through the pains of adolescence is something everyone can relate to. And the early seasons only get better as they go on – seasons 2 and 3 are considered by many to be the apex of the Scooby Gang’s adventures.
As such, fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer have experienced these early seasons many times over the years, and with each re-watch, we pick up on things we’d previously overlooked.
