Burn Notice: 4 Reasons Why It’s Right To End

1. New Opportunities

61 Seven years of Burn Notice have made the stars immediately recognisable and with the show ending it will allow the actors to forge their way into new vehicles for their fame. Let me ask you a question, did you see Jeffrey Donovan in Monk as the Steve Wagner as the titular badguy in 'Mr. Monk and the Astronaut'. He is simply amazing, charismatic and overwhelmingly manipulative as a villain, something which he could easily portray again, or easily stay as a heroic force in a show or even film, having starred as Robert F. Kennedy in Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar. It also allows the opportunity for series creator Matt Nix to develop new shows, such as his proposed medical drama, Complications, which is nearing a pilot order. The show will centre on an emergency room doctor whose life drastically changes following a traumatic experience, involving a gang shooting. He is forced to explore his role in treating the cause of his patients' medical problems. Nix has also expressed interest in pursuing a Burn Notice spinoff movie or even potential series surrounding the lead characters who will remain after the finale - how would you like to see that!
