Carnival Row Season 2: 10 Things We Want To See
4. The Rise Of The Black Ravens
One of the
highlights of series one was the introduction to the seedy world of the
infamous Black Ravens. They are a cut-throat group of Fae outcasts, that sadly
went missing in the latter part of the series, hopefully in series two they
make a triumphant return.
Part of the reason why the Black Ravens were so great, was because it allowed Vignette to develop as a character, as she became more involved with the group. Cara Delevigne was great in this programme and it is one of her best performances to date.
With tensions rife in the Burgue, the moment is set for the Ravens to grow in strength and power. It would be great to see them grow as a rebel organisation that act as freedom fighters for the supressed Fae. Sort of a similar mould to the Resistance Forces in Nazi occupied France. With this in place, the possibilities are immense and any sort of underground operations and missions would be epic viewing.
On a side note, it would be great to see Vignette have a more prominent role within the organisation, she is a great character that hasn’t had a bad storyline thus far.
