Carnival Row Season 2: 10 Things We Want To See
3. A Cult No More
As is
typical in shows when one set of people is suppressed and feel angry about
their situation, a religious nut cult arrives to prey on the weak. Carnival Row
was no different and its boring, predictability has no place in series two.
We have seen it a thousand times in TV shows, films and even real life. Cults such as this rise in terrible situations and it always follows the same story. They gain a great following and their power increases substantially. It all comes to a head and eventually it all implodes. We don’t want to see it, as there are much better storylines to follow.
As mentioned earlier, it would be better to see the Black Ravens become the resistance force for the Fae, not this cult. It has the potential to be more interesting viewing rather than following down the usual cult storyline.
There is also the chance that as a puck, the lovely Afissa may be dragged into the cults nonsense. She is precious and no harm must come to her, NO TO THE CULT.
