Cobra Kai Season 3: 10 Bold Predictions

For the vast majority of Karate Kid fans, the series tally stops at 3.

The first is an instant classic, the second outing is an enjoyable trip out of Daniel's comfort zone and the third, while far from perfect, is at least enjoyable to those who'd come to cherish the Miyagi-Larusso friendship. In the latter half of 1994, however, the series returned for a fourth outing, this time without the plucky hero we were familiar with. In the actress' breakthrough role, Hilary Swank put in a valiant performance that ultimately resulted in a pointless addition to the franchise.

Spending a large portion of the 2010's dipping her toes into TV, it's not a stretch to predict that Swank could cameo (or even more) in the upcoming season, as the Oscar-winning actress could provide the link between the original trilogy and the fourth feature film that was woefully underexplained at the time.

Most fans do their best to forget the fourth film in the franchise, so the opportunity to correct the past could be too enticing to pass up, especially given that Hayden Christiensen is set to reprise his role as Darth Vader.

Actors returning to correct sub-par outings isn't uncommon, it seems.
