Community: 10 Best Characters Who Appeared After Season One
4. Magnitude
Pop pop!
Despite being a literal one note character, Magnitude never became annoying. In fact, the more appearances Luke Youngblood's character made throughout the series, the more charming he became. Whether he's crashing Chang's party at Jeff's place, "dying" of a paintball "wound," or crying out in anger upon learning that minuses in grades aren't real, Magnitude always knew exactly what to say: "Pop pop."
The fact that Magnitude's catchphrase is as beloved as it is both in and out of universe is hilarious. It says so much about Greendale that the personification of charisma only needs to say two words to establish how loveable he is. Magnitude's catchphrase is his identity, and watching him struggle without it in Season 4 when a rich prospective student acquires it instead of him is genuinely heartbreaking, especially knowing that, next time he faces off against Leonard in a political debate, he won't have anything to counter "Pfft."
When Magnitude receives his catchphrase back, all seems right with the world again. Of course, he responds perfectly: "Pop pop!"
