Community: 10 Best Characters Who Appeared After Season One

2. Frankie Dart

Community Rachel Abed
Sony Pictures Television

The next of Community's replacement characters, Paget Brewster's Frankie Dart makes being boring seem interesting. Abed notes that she is the only person he has ever not stopped paying attention to after she admits to not owning a TV, and he has good reason to hang onto her every word.

Though Frankie joins season 6 as an antagonistic figure, she quickly endeers herself to the main characters as well as the audience. Like Hickey, Frankie helps fill the holes left by long gone original cast members Pierce, Troy, and now Shirley. Throughout the season, Frankie nails a steel drum solo, calls the Dean stupid in the most loving way possible, and actually uses Abed's love of TV to get him to cooperate, calling their present situation a "flash forward." Most impressively, Franke participates in the weirdness of Community's world without becoming weird at all, which strangely makes her among the show's weirdest characters.

As Frankie herself says, she is a humble outsider who came in and nailed it. Frankie is a huge part of Season 6's success, and helps Community go out on a high note.
