9. Annie's Boobs

Annie€™s Boobs is the resident Greendale monkey. It spends its days in and out of the ventilation system and is a massive kleptomaniac. Chang is its perpetual bitch. Over the years, Annie's Boobs has become a recurring gag, much of the comedy coming from the fact that Troy named the monkey after....Annie's boobs. The monkey, given to Troy and named after a Twitter contest, was released into the ventilation system of the school during Season One and has since lived out its days by stealing from the slightly more fortunate, mustering a hamper of stolen goodies, including Annie's famed pens. What Annie's Boobs really characterises, for me at least, is the playful and whimsical side of the show. There's a monkey living in the ventilation system and it's stealing people's possessions. It's funny and it's sitcom gold. There is no sense to it, no logic, no real point of it - and that's why we love the show and the damn monkey. Also there are Annie's boobs...
