8. Bromance
Chandler and Joey. JD and Turk. Jerry and George. Kirk and Spock. Seth and Ryan. Lenny and Carl. Jim and Dwight (you know it's true...) Troy and Abed... Over the years, TV logic has dictated that a successful sitcom requires a strong romantic yet unromantic connection between two of the male stars that'll be picked upon constantly as the source of giggles. Think of your favourite sitcom, there's a bromance blossoming in there somewhere. Hell, even the Drama category are starting to follow suit. Think House and Wilson. Hurley and Charlie. Ando and Hiro. The skill and comedic talent of Danny Pudi and Donald Glover and their ability to work together as a duo is uncanny and is, without doubt, one of the reasons people adore the show. The first season 'tag' scenes, usually taking place at the end of each episode, were little spots of genius and have developed another recurring gag in Troy and Abed's special morning show ("Troy and Abed in the moooorrnnning") If there was ever to be a spin-off,
Community has a wealth of options but none more recommended to air than Troy and Abed, together, just sitting there, playing games, impersonating Bert and Ernie, living in their little world that everyone strives to be a part of.
