Community: The Worst Episode From Every Season

Community started with a bang in 2009 with the first season, and continued that trajectory the following year with the second season. Once again, the show aimed its sights higher with the third season and it landed perfectly. The third year at Greendale Community College is arguably the greatest, with classic episodes like Remedial Chaos Theory, Pillows And Blankets, and Basic Lupine Urology.

That said, Community’s third season opener was actually its weakest. Biology 101 follows the study group as they find a new class to take together, which funnily enough ends up being Biology. The episode sees the return of Pierce to the group, and Jeff’s unfortunate departure after he upsets the biology teacher.

It’s worth noting that this particular entry in show’s third outing isn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination. It’s just the weakest of an incredible bunch. Whether it be because the show had to deal with bringing Pierce back to the group and then finding a new call, or simply due to the writing not hitting full force yet, Biology 101 simply lacks the momentum the rest of season 3 possessed.

These are of course very small issues, because like season 2, Community’s third outing is near-perfect with very few flaws.
