Crisis On Infinite Earths: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best
3. Sara Lance/White Canary
Sara Lance is a character of two halves. On one hand, you have the sombre assassin trained by Ra's Al Ghul that had no problem killing those who got in her way, and on the other you have the captain of a wacky time-travelling Waverider that has to keep her team of outcasts and misfits in line. Crisis On Infinite Earths successfully managed to balance both versions of the character, leaning into her darker Arrow origins to explore her history with Oliver but never venturing too far without restoring the levity of her Legends of Tomorrow persona.
Without the rest of the Legends around, the spotlight remained on her for the majority of the crossover, allowing viewers to remember why they fell for the emotionally conflicted woman she once was - and it really was nice to see that side of her again. In a way, this allowed her (and Barry) to step up as leader in the aftermath of Oliver's death which - given that they had known him the longest - made sense.
From leading the team to victory (all while showcasing those great fighting skills of hers) to her well-handled character journey, she remained a key player throughout the Crisis and it really was nice to see the Sara Lance of old return just one more time.
