Curb Your Enthusiasm: 10 Moments Where Larry David Was Right

8. Napkin-Gate €“ (S7 Ep 6)

PolicelineThe Context: Larry buys a Chicken Parmesan Sub for lunch at Enzo€™s Pizzeria, and takes a few napkins extra from the counter, despite there already being two napkins in his bag. The Issue: Probably the most far-fetched incident in terms of where it leads to, but the principle is still 100% correct. When Larry takes a couple extra napkins, the manager point blank demands that he returns them. Are you kidding me?! Napkins are complimentary, you can take as many as you want! Larry, never one to play the chump, slyly takes a load extra behind the manager€™s back, and rightly so! The downside is that Enzo calls the cops, who pull Larry over and take him down to the station. FOR TAKING EXTRA NAPKINS! One of the great injustices of the 21st century.
