Cursed Review: 6 Ups & 4 Downs

4. It's Full Of BRUTAL Gore

The big appeal for many will be that, coming from Frank Miller of all people, Cursed is loaded with creative blood-letting.

If Game of Thrones' approach to gore is decidedly more "realistic," Cursed opts to get a little more out-there with it, ranging from entertainingly over-the-top kills to some unexpected detours into body-horror territory.

Yes, the blood is CGI for the most part, but the gnarly sights themselves are no less revolting as a result, ensuring that anyone craving some more R-rated fantasy content is in good company here.

While Cursed isn't a show jam-packed with action, it certainly delivers enough brutality to help distance itself from the other, more quaint Arthurian media out there.
