6. Did Elektra Survive?
Surely this is a no-brainer. Elektra and Murdock were both squashed by the same slab of rubble in the closing events of The Defenders. Matt woke up from it, so dammed if Elektra didn't! She has already proven to have a distinct talent for survival. And for better or worse, Elektra has unfinished business in the Daredevil storyline. Her comic-wise destiny is intertwined with Murdock, Kingpin and, well let's not spoil it past that.
The biggest question is, will she return as a villain or a heroin? In the last Daredevil season, she just about managed to traverse the path of the righteous, but copious exposure to The Hand in The Defenders placed her firmly in baddie territory. One way or another, Matt will be helplessly infatuated, which will further the hardships of his already tenuous relationship with Karen Page.
We've also seen a lot of revealing stuff in the latest batch of Series 3 trailers, or so it would have us believe. Elektra's possible return could be one top secret element they pull out of the bag in later episodes.
