Daredevil Season 3: 8 Big Questions We Need Answers To
5. Will Fisk Get Even For Wesley's Murder?
No disciple of Wilson Fisk was more profoundly loyal than his right-hand man, James Wesley, a guy who exercised an almost Smithers-like devotion to his superior. But that all stopped at the end of Season 1 when he took a fatal gunshot from Karen Page. This affected the Kingpin of crime on a highly emotional level, who kissed him goodbye and beat half-to-death the nearest operative whilst screaming "He's my friend!"
Fisk's incarceration put his quest for revenge on hold, but no one in their right mind should assume that he's forgiven or forgotten. On the flip-side, Karen Page never really came clean about the fact she had killed a man, and she even endured a nightmare where Fisk found her and carried out his revenge bare-handed.
An omen of things to come perhaps? With Fisk vowing to make Murdock and Daredevil's life a living hell, and Karen being involved in both these persons, the possible revelation of this supposedly buried deed could elevate Fisk from being cold-hearted to patiently diabolical... As he tends to be when things get personal.
