Daredevil Season 3: 8 Major Plot Predictions
6. People Begin To Piece Together Murdock And DD's Disappearance
Though Born Again looks to be a primary influence on the latest season of Daredevil, that doesn't mean it'll be its only one. The show's first two seasons, for instance, took a great deal of their inspiration from other stories in Miller's run on the character, along with elements of Brian Bendis' Marvel Knights comic from the early 2000s. The latter series is also likely to inspire certain elements from Season 3's story too, owing to the fact that - much like Born Again - Matt Murdock endured a lot throughout its duration.
To many, the highpoint from that series occurred during The Murdock Papers - an arc that saw Kingpin leak Matt Murdock's alter-ego to the press and would fundamentally alter the status-quo of Daredevil's comics for an entire decade. It was massive, and with Matt dogged by accusations of his vigilante career in his public life, the character eventually ended up in prison alongside who else, but the Kingpin himself.
While it might be a stretch to say that Murdock's double life will go public in Season 3, people will be asking questions as to why the Devil of Hell's Kitchen disappeared just as its blind lawyer suddenly died. It's a thread Fisk himself is likely to latch onto as well, and with that in mind, it looks as though things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get better.
