Daredevil Season 3: 8 Major Plot Predictions
1. Elektra Returns (And Sets Up The Show's Fourth Season)
Though Daredevil's second season was considered something of a mixed bag for those who weren't overly fond of The Hand sub-plot, for fans of Elodie Yung's Elektra Natchios, it proved to be a worthy follow up to the show's stellar debut series.
The character's eventual resurrection in The Defenders wasn't, however, executed well. Borrowing elements from Daredevil's forgotten years during the nineties, the one-time assassin returned as a mind-controlled agent of The Hand, devolving much of the ensemble series' narrative into a fairly clichéd and forgettable brainwash story that could've probably found a home on children's TV.
That doesn't mean a return should be ruled out though, and with the character having suffered the same ambiguous fate Murdock did in the series finale, the door is still open for the resurectee to return once more.
Of course, Netflix have the chance to close the door on Daredevil once and for all, but in continuing the character's journey for at least another few years, Elektra is of key importance.
