Daredevil Season 3: 8 Major Plot Predictions
2. Daredevil Gets His Revenge
Though Born Again is certainly a dark tale, the Man Without Fear still manages to salvage a happy ending. Season 3 can actually go one step further though by granting DD his own revenge, along the lines of D. G. Chichester and Lee Weeks' Last Rites.
In the comic, which is considered a spiritual sequel of sorts to Born Again, Daredevil utilises every mean at his disposal to systematically destroy Kingpin's life from the ground up. He enlists S.H.I.E.L.D. (a crossover waiting in the wings, perhaps?), and tears Fisk's empire down, concluding the threads established in Miller's run in a uniquely satisfying manner.
At the moment, it looks as though Netflix won't be making any new Marvel TV shows. They are, however, continuing with their pre-established series, with Jessica Jones Season 3, Iron Fist Season 2 and a follow-up to the Punisher all already in production. It looks as though things are set to continue despite Disney carving out a place in the market with their own streaming service, and while Season 3 of Daredevil doesn't necessarily have to provide a sense of finality to the character's story, that could just be what ends up happening by the time the thirteenth episode's credits start to roll.
