DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: Ranking The Characters Worst To Best

3. Ray Palmer

Legends Of Tomorrow Rip Hunter Captain Cold atom
The CW

No matter how many times Ray managed to screw things up throughout the early part of the season, it was hard not to appreciate where his heart was at. From the team's inception, he was one of the few who truly wanted to be there to make a difference, and his goofy yet lovable personality and motivated attitude gave strength to both the team and the very heart of the show that kept it so charming.

Though he was burdened with a relatively needless romance with Kendra - echoing shades of his similarly ill-destined relationship with Felicity back on Arrow - everything else about Ray pretty much worked on the show, from developing an awkward friendship with Mick Rory to fulfilling fantasies like being a sheriff in the Old West and going giant to simply finding a place he belongs in the team itself.
