Deathstroke: Knight & Dragons Review - 7 Ups & 1 Down From The Series Premiere
2. Off To A Great Start
You could say that Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons got off to a pretty great start but that might not even be enough to sum up just how great the premiere was.
An incredible opening to what is so far a thoroughly compelling narrative, it's hard not to compare it to the likes of Batman: The Animated Series and Young Justice - both of which kicked the norms of animation to curb and favoured long-running epic storytelling over unrelated adventures-of-the-week, proving that cartoons were indeed capable of meaningful narratives. And it seems that Deathstroke is set to follow in their footsteps.
With family at its heart, the writers simply can't go wrong, while The Jackal and his H.I.V.E. are proving to be both worthy and intriguing antagonists to the sword-swaying assassin. Yes, it seems that the best is yet to come for Knights and Dragons.
