The Vampire Diaries and The Originals are two of the most popular shows to come from the CW network.

The Vampire Diaries ran for an incredible eight seasons, and although the later seasons lost their original spark, the storylines were still very much intriguing, so much so that they kept fans coming back for more.

Then came The Originals. Although The Originals only ran for five seasons, we were able to see the story of the very first vampire family. The very famous Mikaelson family.

It seemed a shame to stop there. After The Originals ended in the summer of 2018, a few months later came Legacies.

Legacies followed the story of the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall. Taking place two years after The Originals, we follow Hope Mikaelson as she attends a school for the young and gifted. Not surprising given her descent from some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witches.

Given that Legacies is a spin-off of The Originals, it's no surprise that some characters have appeared in both shows. But can you remember which ones?
