Disenchantment Part 2: 10 Best Moments

Episode 16, The Dreamland Job, is another more stand alone adventure in Part Two, although it does fold into the world building with the heavy taxation of the elves a prominent feature. In order to steal back the money unfairly taken by King Zog, a group of elves put on a circus show for the king and Derek, while simultaneously pulling off an Ocean's 11 style heist.

In both the circus acts themselves and the various clever methods the elves use to get past the security systems, we see some great set pieces and wonderful animation. Zog is enjoying himself for once too, and it's one of the few times he and Derek share a scene together with a positive tone.

Of course, by the end it's revealed that this was in fact a double con, with the elves not being elves at all, and intending to steal the money all for themselves. You're paying so much attention to the con itself that you don't realise they're tricking you, too.

One person they can't trick though is Luci, who silently knew it was a con from the start. He gets his own back with a chocolate coin switcheroo, and all is well again.
