Doctor Who: 10 Alien Worlds That Need To Be Revisited
7. Xeros - The Space Museum
The Space Museum is far from one of the best stories in the history of Doctor Who. But the idea of a planet that features such a museum, one that details the goings on all over the universe, is incredibly interesting. It brings one to mind of Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, featuring all the books ever written. And we all liked that pretty well, didn't we? The concept of The Space Museum was awesome, but the intriguing first episode was let down, like so many during the Hartnell era, by the episodes that came after all. Still...there's a really fantastic story buried in there somewhere. Imagine, the TARDIS crew wandering through the dark hallways of a museum that contains all of time and space, where something's gone terribly wrong. Throw in the tension between the occupying forces who run the museum and the native people of the planet, and you've got a bonafide classic on your hands.
