Doctor Who: 10 Best NuWho Villains That Only Appeared Once
Because sometimes, the briefest impression can leave the largest impact.
Doctor Who has some of the most iconic villains in the history of television. The likes of the Daleks and the Cybermen have been terrorising audiences for nigh on fifty years. But what of those villains whove had far less time to make an impact on us, yet are still remembered long after they were last seen? When various episodes are broken-down, dissected or reviewed the quality of said episodes is often closely connected to the quality of their villains. Villains can make or break episodes just look at 'Aliens of London,' an episode that was ruined by its horrible villains, in the form of the Slitheen family. While 'Aliens of London' may have been the first episode of the rebooted series to feature a lacklustre villain it certainly wasn't the last, as 'The Idiot's Lantern' and 'Partners In Crime" prove. Because these episodes do not feature great villains they are often held in lesser regard than their counterparts which did. But enough about the forgettable villains, it's time to dive in to the top ten villains who've had a lasting and memorable effect on the show, despite only appearing in one episode. Just to clarify on the criteria for this list only those villains that appeared from the 2005 reboot onwards will be considered, and villains that appeared in two part episodes will be up for consideration, as long as they haven't appeared before or since.
