Doctor Who: 10 Completely Bonkers Fan Theories (That Sound Totally True)

1. The Silence Will Fall

Silence Another theory on the same prophecy based on it being fulfilled in the Christmas episode is that the prophecy itself has changed over time... and become something of a self-fulfilling one. The line is that "Silence will fall when the question is asked". Perhaps it isn't the mere noise of a lack of a question, or death. Perhaps it's The Silence who will fall. As in the annoying faceless aliens who look permanently like they're sucking on lemons. I know in English, it isn't surprising for certain words to be dropped in the retelling. When there's a prophecy, then there is an expectation that it'll have been translated at least a few times. Of course The Silence formed in order to ensure that the question would not be answered. But what I'm saying is that the formation of The Silence itself allows for themselves to fall at the hands of the new Doctor, thus they manage to fulfil the prophecy... just not in the manner they may have expected. Anyway, that's what I think? What do you think? Are these theories completely mad, or is there some truth in them?
