2. She Is Bound For Greatness
When Karen isn't making her own short films, she's starring in other people's - earlier this year she took on the role Maeve MacDonough in James Gadd's Bound For Greatness. The drama depicts the story of Darren, a 27 year old who has Aspergers and has gone through his whole life never truly feeling connected with anyone. But then, one day, he happens upon a girl nursing a broken bird. The film was premiered at the LA. Femme Film Festival last month. Karen signed on to the film after meeting a fan with Aspergers Syndrome and it was her first project post-Guardians Of The Galaxy, hence the pixie crop.
