Doctor Who: 10 Ways To Improve The Show

1. Introduce Sherlock?

sherlock teaser A film version of the Doctor colliding with Sherlock - think what Moffat's imagination could do with that one! The man, who thinks he's God versus the God who yearns to be mortal. Personalities would clash as Sherlock would want to prove he's right and the superior being, while the Doctor would want to make everything right and save humanity. There would be a battle of wits to solve a crime/see who is the cleverest. In fact, Sherlock is less of a man/less human than the Doctor, which makes him fascinating to watch €“ you don't know what he'll do next because he approaches everything with such detached logic that it's shocking to witness, and his callous contempt for everyone around him is in sharp contrast to the Doctor's way of interacting. The Doctor tends to greet people with a genuine curiosity, child-like friendliness, and compassion. Both have a genius level of intelligence, but come to a situation/problem from opposite sides - one is empathic, the other cold, manipulative and self-serving. What great adversaries they would be, and wouldn't it be great if it came out that Sherlock is not truly human, but a Time Lord with a whispering fob watch! I would love to see what each character would bring out in the other. It would need to be a full length feature; if they could get the actors to commit and create a script worthy of the characters, it would be green-lit in a heartbeat with the anticipation of massive international box office revenue. One can dream! Those are my ideas - do you have any?
