11. Exterminate, Regenerate
This is one of the more popular Trock songs out there, by Chameleon Circuit. "Exterminate Regenerate" is a catchy tune about the complex relationship between the Doctor and Davros, creator of the Daleks. What makes "Exterminate Regenerate" especially clever is the way particularly meaningful lines have been taken from episodes of Doctor Who and seamlessly slotted in. For instance, the line, "Look at you, fashioning people into weapons" followed by "Why don't you hop into your ship, and leave me burning?" are the very sentiments of Davros in the series 4 finale, "Journey's End". Another great thing about this track is that it is multi-faceted, in that it is narrated from the perspective of both Davros and the Doctor. The Chameleon Circuit boys have been very insightful in pointing out just how similar the two are; "Even though as men, we have our contrasts, we're of exactly the same class."
