Doctor Who: 11 Episodes To Watch Before The Regeneration Tomorrow
11. Episode 1 - The Eleventh Hour
Of course where else would we start than the first episode? Back when Matt had visible eyebrows and still used the blue sonic, right when Moffat had just taken the reigns from Russell T. Davies dont forget, tomorrow is a big day for Moffat too! and no one knew much except this Doctor was young much younger than his two predecessors in New Who. The most vivid thing I remember about this episode besides the staggering similarly cinematography to Sherlock BBC was that Eleven was going to be different. Where Nine had been angry and Ten had been charming, they were both obviously adults. This new Doctor was most definitely not going to be an adult. This Doctor was going to be amusing, witty, and childish. It was going to be a huge change from Eccleston and Tennant, and for many people it took them awhile to get used to the idea of such a young Doctor who was so completely different than what we were used to. Of course, for many people, Eleven turned out to be so much more than just another Doctor. He maintained the attributes we all loved in episode one while slowly evolving into what could arguably be one of the most complex Doctors weve had.
I'm currently attending my local college while trying to figure out who I am. I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, really any BBC show. I've also been told I'm a bit of a nerd. Specifically, a theatre nerd.
