7. A Good Man Goes To War
Despite the fact that this episode mostly focuses on Amy and Rory, this is pivotal to Elevens storyline. This is the episode where we see Matts theatrics at work again, and we get to see the Doctor begin to become more than just the childish Doctor we thought he would be in his first episode. Seeing the Doctor angry when his friends are in danger and at the Order of the Silence lets the Doctor show us more of him than weve seen, and gave us more dimensions to who he is. Again, this is also a great episode to watch if youre looking for episodes that show off the Doctors companions as well. Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill do an amazing job in the episode as their childs life is on the line, and Darvill also gives us some great character moments that show more dimensions to Rory as well. So whether your plan is to watch Doctor-centric episodes or episodes that celebrate all of what we saw during Matts time as the Doctor, this episode has it all.
