2013 Specials. 23 November 2013. There are so many funny moments in The Day of The Doctor it's hard to know where to start, but from the moment the Eleventh Doctor falls through the time fissure and finds the Tenth Doctor looking back at him, wearing his fez, it's just one great big laugh. The Tenth Doctor doesn't know who it is, of course, but the Eleventh remembers instantly. "Oh, that is skinny", Eleven says, sizing Ten up from a distance before approaching. "That is proper skinny. I've never seen it from the outside. It's like a special effect!". Whipping the fez off Ten's head, Eleven cries "Ha! Matchstick man". Once Ten realises who he's talking to, both Doctors reach for their sonic screwdrivers, Eleven's being noticeably larger. Ten accuses Eleven of compensating for "Regeneration. It's a lottery", but Eleven's having none of it and rebuts the slur. "Oh, he's cool. Isn't he cool? I'm the Doctor and I'm all cool. Oops, I'm wearing sandshoes!"
