Doctor Who: 5 Books That Should Be Adapted Into Episodes

1. The Writer's Tale

This book was fascinating with Russell T Davies' emails to a journalist giving a fascinating insight into his writing process and into his experience of working for the BBC. Interspersed within the book were samples of the first drafts of Doctor Who episodes and illustrations. Simply put, it was incredible. I am yet to read the Final Chapter edition but I can already see the possibilities for an adaptation. This is quite an ambitious idea in comparison to earlier suggestionsbut it would be very interesting for fans if only it were likely to happen. A film or documentary focusing on Davies and also more widely on the experiences of bringing back Doctor Who after a long hiatus. In a film adaptation this would focus more on the story told in the book and on Russell T Davies but broadening the sights to a documentary provides a wider subject matter. Really though, in this anniversary year, any extra Doctor Who shows will be appreciated by fans. Hopefully the 50th Anniversary Special will be just as amazing as we all expect! That's what I think, what do you think? Leave your comments - we look forward to hearing from you!
