1.Sabotaging The Daleks
The Doctor as Dalek saboteur. He's battled them across eleven (hopefully, soon to be twelve) incarnations, reserving some of his most defining strategies for his tangles with them. Should the War Doctor be allowed to take this to a point before or during the Time War? After all, there's certainly a tantalising prospect afoot if you take Genesis Of The Daleks into account. What if whether authorised as an agent of the Time Lords or purely driven by his hatred of their foe he brings himself to carry out what the Fourth couldn't, and destroy the Daleks at birth? It could be an amazing watch, read or listen. A universe without Daleks, or in which they survive in some other form thanks to the Doctor's pre-emptive strikes against them, could be yet another calculated gamble. Could he survive without them having somehow ended it all at the moment of their creation to avert war? It could be a great opportunity to see more of Skaro if nothing else. And the challenge of how to fill the void left by the tinpot dictators could be the making or breaking of any enterprising writers. It could become a Time Lord outpost, an extension of a great Gallifreyan empire, turning the Doctor's people into, on the face of it, a race little better than the foes they'd have vanquished, and the resulting arc would have the freedom to ask some pretty big questions of just what Rassilon, Omega and the Other had achieved after laying the foundations for the Gallifrey we know even more of now. The WhatCulture! Lords now throw the floor of the Citadel open to your suggestions. Do you agree that these are potentially great avenues for the War Doctor to go down or do you know better? Play the Game Of WhatCulture! and see where it takes you!
