Doctor Who: 6 Aspects Of Malcolm Tucker The Peter Capaldi Doctor Needs

5. His Over-The-Top Temper

Malcolm Tucker is an angry man. But look at what he has to deal with everyday: incompetent Ministers, disgruntled constituents, and the British media themselves. His temper, though, is one of the things that his character is famous for. While the Doctor is indeed known for his wrath when provoked it is nowhere near the ferocity that Capaldi unleashes during one of Tucker's vitriol fueled rants, and with half the provocation. While the obvious application of his fury would be during the more action packed scenarios, it could be used extremely effectively for comedic scenes phenomenally. At its heart we all know that Doctor Who has always had a sense of humor, although sometimes drier than others. From the sly quick talking of the First and Second Doctors to the silly at fist listen comments of Tom Baker's incarnation, humor is a huge part of the formula that has made the show last as long as it has and the possible shenanigans that could occur at the Doctor losing his cool at inopportune times could prove to be fodder for some creative rants.
