Doctor Who: 6 Aspects Of Malcolm Tucker The Peter Capaldi Doctor Needs
3. Just Popping Up Out Of Nowhere
The element of surprise can be a valuable asset in just about any critical situation. Be it spotting a Dalek sentry in one of the many corridors you seem to find yourself in lately or dodging a Sontaran platoon coming around the corner, being able to get the jump on your opponent is a great advantage. This is one part of Tucker's character that without a doubt should carry over into Capaldi's portrayal of the Doctor. His ability to catch the various Ministers under his close watch by surprise (even in a building made out of glass), as well as getting the upper hand on stopping some scandalous news stories that could smear a member of his party help make him extremely effective at keeping his party in power. Just imagine some of the brilliant traps that the writers could set up if that aspect was drawn from his character. The Doctor isn't necessarily known for his stealthy surprises, more for his clever set-ups and quick talking; but it could also be used for comedic effect as well when dealing with the situation of revealing his new face to his old friends.
Writer, musician, and history buff. I write short stories, comedy, and various other things. Have an almost unhealthy interest in all things Doctor Who and Star Wars with a little obsession time left for video games and music. Love horror novels and fantasy most of all, Stephen King is a huge inspiration.
