6. A Final Nod To Poor Fashion Sense
What wouldn't be a goodbye from Matt Smith without a final decree of the utter coolness of bow-ties? Whether it be in words or simply looking into a mirror to make sure it's on straight, Smith absolutely must give one final tip of the stetson to his precarious fashion sense and most defining trait. Alternately, Capaldi's Doctor will likely be a much different Doctor than Smith's both in character and fashion. After regenerating, it would be nice to see Capaldi's reaction and dismay to his predecessor's sense of style, or lack thereof. I'm anticipating Capaldi has a similar response to looking back at a high school yearbook twenty years later and wondering, "What the hell was I thinking?" Here's hoping it was just a phase and Capaldi's taste reflects his personality, which is speculated to be a much darker Doctor than Smith's. So long as he doesn't dress like a clown.
